To say Justin Timberlake is an icon would be an understatement.
Imagine putting your ideas forward to start a clothing company—the fear, the insecurities, and the unknown that comes with having nothing—zero stability. As a creative and an entrepreneur, it can feel like the world is doubting you, yet relying on you at the same time. Long nights overwhelmed by the silence, but also learning to ignore the noise—this is what it felt like to start Greyson.
Justin gave me what I was searching for. Simply through his intrigue and love for Greyson, he gave me confidence in myself and reminded me why I began this journey.
It’s almost impossible to build self-confidence when you’re constantly wanting to give in, not knowing what’s next, always fighting, and willing—but never giving up. I met Justin at Pebble Beach during Greyson’s second year.
Greyson was miraculously included in the gifting portion of the AT&T Pro-Am. I was told Justin Timberlake was in our portion of the setup. I walked over and introduced myself. He was kind, complimentary, and thoughtful with his words. We chatted about all things cool, and he left with all things GREYSON!
Since then, our friendship has been built on creativity, loyalty, and kindness. As I think back to that day, I’m grateful for all the perils and hardships—the peaks and valleys. I am beyond thankful for my friend who reminded me of who I was, who I am, and who I was meant to be. Dedicating this Spiritual Sunday to my buddy who has inspired more than he knows.
